Who can apply for Master's scholarships at the Spectrum Graduate School?
These scholarships are designed to enable the most talented students to pursue their studies in conditions conducive to their success.
A scholarship awarded in the first year of a Master's program will be renewed in the second year if the student's results are satisfactory. It will be necessary to resubmit an application demonstrating academic excellence.
Eligibility requirements
- Any student holding a diploma equivalent to the French License 3 obtained in a French university (including that of Université Côte d'Azur) or foreign and applying for one of the Masters of the Graduate School (see list below) is eligible for the Master 1 merit scholarship.
- Any student holding a diploma equivalent to the French Master 1 obtained in a French or foreign university and applying in the second year to one of the Masters of the Graduate School (see list below) is eligible for the Master 2 scholarship.

Molecular chemistry
- Molecular chemistry
- Chemical and therapeutic biology (MedBioChem)
Environnment management
- Management of hydrotechnological projects (HydroProtech) - Eligible only for students not enrolled in work-study programs
Mathematics and applications
- Fundamental and applied mathematics (MFA)
- General mathematics for teaching (MATH AGREG)
- Mathematical Engineering (IM) - Eligible only to students not enrolled in work-study programs
Fundamental physics and applications
- Master track in astrophysics (MAUCA)
- Waves, atoms, matter (OAM)
- Optics, photonics, telecommunications and instrumentation (OPTIQ) - Eligible only for Master 1 students
Earth and environmental sciences
- Geophysics, geology (2G)
- Development, geotechnical, engineering (AGI) - Eligible only for Master 1 students
How to apply?
Applications must be submitted directly to the school by e-mail.
- Mandatory documents

• A Curriculum Vitae (2 pages maximum).
• A cover letter describing how the choice of the degree corresponds to your personal and professional career goals, and if applicable, showing how your doctoral project matches the research themes of UniCA laboratories.
• The transcript and rank for each year of your bachelor's degree and possibly of your master's degree (translated into English or French for foreigners). For foreign transcripts, an explanation of the grading method would be appreciated.
• The detail of courses taken in 2023-2024.
• A letter of recommendation from your last department head and a letter of recommendation from one of your professors. These letters should be sent directly by them to the email address specified above and with the same subject. Recommenders must also provide their contact information.
• The master's degree and track for which you plan to apply.
• A copy of the applicant’s passport.
• Image rights authorization (optional).
